The Sony SLV-N750 is a full-size 4-head VCR VHS Player designed for dependable VHS playback with Hi-Fi stereo sound and a useful collection of playback and search features. Its double-azimuth four-head system, automatic tracking, stereo audio, front and rear A/V connections, and dedicated playback controls make it an excellent choice for watching an existing VHS collection or connecting to a TV, capture device, or DVD recorder.
The SLV-N750 offers several convenient features not found on many basic VCRs, including Commercial Skip, Replay, index searching, blank-space searching, slow motion, frame-by-frame viewing, 2x playback, Auto Play, and Auto Repeat. Commercial Skip advances approximately 30 seconds with each press, while Replay quickly rewinds approximately 10 seconds to replay a scene.
The unit plays standard VHS tapes and can also play S-VHS tapes in standard VHS resolution. It can record to VHS in SP or EP speed and supports Hi-Fi stereo and SAP/bilingual audio. Commercial Skip
Pressing Commercial Skip advances the tape approximately 30 seconds and resumes playback. The button can be pressed up to four times to skip up to approximately two minutes.
Replay
The Replay function rewinds approximately 10 seconds for each press and automatically resumes playback, making it easy to replay dialogue or a scene you missed.
Search Functions
The SLV-N750 automatically places index signals at the beginning of recordings. Scan and Play can search these index points and briefly preview each recording until you find the desired program.
The VCR can also automatically search for the 0:00:00 counter position or locate the beginning of a blank section of tape.
Auto Tracking
Tracking is adjusted automatically during playback. Manual tracking controls are also provided for tapes that require additional adjustment.
